What are your favorite Caedes posts? I thought it would be really interesting to hear what people's all-time favorite images are (photograph, fractal, illustration..anything!). I like to visit people's favorites lists to see what kinds of images really interest them...sometimes they are similar to the things that particular person posts and sometimes its something completely different. I know some of you don't keep a favorites list or don't keep up with them (and some of you have upwards of 50 pages full...you know who you are!), but I think it might be fun to hear what your most favorite images are (not necessarily most technically sound, etc, but more like the images that really interest you for one reason or another). It could also give you a chance for a little thank you or a little recognition to the particular artist.
I'll start with my favorites...
My all-time favorite:
"The Edge", by LynEve - I am a huge fan of B&W and I really think B&W photos are under-appreciated here on Caedes. This shot is so dramatic and the atmosphere comes across very strong in B&W. Definitely a big favorite of mine.
Close runners-up:
"car collector", by jeenie11 - To me, if there was one photo that is the perfect representation of the cliché, "A picture is worth a thousand words" it would definitely be this one. I think this is a shot that can mean something different to everyone and has always been one of my favorites.
"Heaven on Earth", by photoimagery - For any of you that have followed any of my posts, you would know that my favorite subject is flowing water and this is the photo that really sparked that interest.
I hope you guys share your thoughts and I'm looking forward to seeing what kinds of images you really like and why you like them...
There is a photo by Mayne of a tree with a wooden sign that says Tranquility. THAT is my fave for certain. I think it is because of the colors and mossy-ness of the tree, but more than that, the tranquility sign just pretty much does it for me.
As you know, I like people captures
My favorite?... maybe They was a-splishin' and a'splashin' And also in the architecture: vertigo Ooops! Two B&W works... ;-)
In the colored, I'm a fan of Kodo34's gallery
