Has there been discussion about possibly adding a widescreen gallery to Caedes complete with widescreen resolution settings? I think it would make a really great addition to an already great site ;-)

are you talking about widescreen, or dual monitors? because both would be a nice addition. i know i have a lot of panoramas that would make great dual monitor backgrounds, so if other people would be interested in them we should have a galery for it here.

I've seen other websites that make a distinction between widescreen and dual monitors. I'm talking about a single wide monitor, but both would be good ideas.

I mentioned it to caedes before, and I am pretty sure the is plan to add more categories for odd shapes (including widescreen, and probably dual too). I don't know when , or even if for sure, but it has been discussed (very briefly).

well i'm thinking about getting a second monitor soon, so i think it would be great if we could get a category to include dual-screens.

way back when in the mists of time i posted a dual screen desktop it was split.. i basically posted the two halfs of the image up on caedes as as two seperate images.

that would work, it just takes 2 days worth of uploads then, and linking and stuff, which i guess would overall end up being easier, than asking Caedes to program more, and just make a new galery for images like that, and you would have to link them the same, because chances are they would not get voted the same

Wallpapers in 1680x1050 would be awesome.
