Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
Hey I was looking at that list, pretty cool. Whomever made that spent allot of time doing their homework. If I ever win the big lotto I'm going to print out that list and try to visit every one. I think I'll start by touring all 49 continental states, then Hawaii. After the US I'll probably go North to Canada and the surronding countries, then east to Ireland.
Right now thats all planned out where did I put that Megamillions ticket.
Ouro Preto in Brazil was amazing. Cobblestone streets, Baroque architecture, all sorts of shops.. the old fashioned craft sort, not just the "souveniers R us" variety. a cornucopia of subject matter for the wandering photographer.
So, if that's the kind of place that's on the list, I'm guessing the rest are just as interesting, if not more so.

well, hey, since I've already been to Knowth, Dowth and Newgrange in Ireland (pretty amazing ancient stuff), I think I'll wend my way to... Machu Picchu!
That is a great site, thanks. Quite a time waster :)
I was surprised to discover that excluding the NZ sites I have seen 14 of them. Some accompanied by a Box Brownie :)
Still a few more to visit but I think I left my run a bit late - so will just enjoy looking at them online :)
I happened to find this list of locations around the world that are designated as World Heritage sites.
Here's where they can be found.
