I've just got this program. I finally now know how co2metal makes his images! But i have one question to you expert users. My renders are all grainy not a very godo quality. Is there something i can change in the options? In Chaoscope they called it 'Iterations'. No such thing in Apophosys. Any help?

From my understanding of the program, it is meant to serve as a modeling environment for the flame fractal. After you find one that you like you should import it into UltraFractal (or another renderer) for final rendering. That's the only way to get the really large resolution images and smooth transitions.

AH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damit. I don't have other fractal software! Apart from Chaoscope but you can't open other renders in that. Stumped again.

Thankyou anyway Caedes! Its good to hear from you. You did have a quiet period of not commenting much.

I think you can also import it into FracTint which is freeware.

no need to...on apophysis the third button over is a gear button...that button renders for high quality images. be warned tho it takes quite awhile to render. :)

Oh that's nice. I wasn't sure if they had added that feature since I have a relatively old version of Apophosys.
