Tracy's post and Mike's response got me thinking. I know I shouldn't do that, but I was wondering if there could be a way to add something to the member's profiles that would signify that they have served or are serving their country?

Well there is an "Occupation" field. I'm not sure of what you mean exactly since there are people from all over the world here.

Oops my oversight, meant to type "their" countries. I meant something symbolic beside their user name. I suppose you're right. If they want that public they can add it to their Occupation field. Thanks.

Thanks, B.J., but I was only in the reserves. I was on active duty for that encampment sortie to Vietnam, but I don't qualify as a true veteran. That's the military for ya!

I am going into the Army National Guard in a couple of weeks.

I think the occupation spot would suffice if you wanted to show your colours as Caedes suggested - there is no real need to change that I wouldn't have thought.
