I think it could be interesting to have on each image the date it was uploaded. I keep wondering how long stuff has been here. Yeah, the posts have dates, but there aren't any posts right after an image is uploaded necessarily.

Ya, thats actually been suggested several times. I wonder if anyone has placed this suggestion on the dev site yet? I think right now caedes is busy with working on the new site layout? (along with life)

It's the test server used to check new software before it goes live on the main site, and the main place to request features and report bugs.
(If you've recently joined the main site, your username may not be in the dev server database, I have no idea when caedes last updated. You should be able to create another one there.)

I just tried to log in to the 'dev server' to make a couple suggestions and I got this rather comical message:

Anyhow, my suggestions are as follows:
1) remove the 'SIZE" filter from the contest judging page for those of us that use it and may not think to turn it off. I was judging (thank you for that, bytheway) and thought ... hmmpf, I wonder if I'm seeing everything and turned the filter off and lo, seven more images turned up.
2) add a comment box to the image upload page for the more loquacious among us ;) or for those that are addicted to saying .. Woot! ..first comment.

Sounds good to me. I'm certainly loquacious enough. And a size filter blocking images is a travesty.

If I remember correctly, when I first logged in to the dev site, I had to actually register first. I couldn't just log in with my existing name and password.
