Every once in a while I run into this problem with a photograph I want to post where it belongs in a quaint scenes gallery but one does not exist. I've noticed other photographs on the site that would fit, particularly in the landscape gallery and maybe in the city gallery... and almost definitely stuff that people have placed in the general gallery by default. Examples of my own photos that I'd like to put in such a gallery include:
I might have a couple others that would be suitable that I'm not thinking of, but I'm sure there are more than enough such photos on the site already to fill their own gallery. I know there's been some concern about having too many galleries but I tend to think it just makes it easier to find what you're looking for. Just thought I'd mention the idea. Hope everyone is having a happy holiday!
You'd need to identify at least 30 photos that would fit the definition of 'quaint' before a new gallery could be created. Moreover, words like 'bucolic', 'littoral' and 'pastoral' come immediately to mind, which could lead to some confusion as well as overlapping with other galleries. Try to refine your concept.
