Patterns 'made' by nature

"Patterns in nature" is a little different than "patterns created by nature" ! in the first case is/are) the pattern(s) already exists in nature. In the second case, there are patterns created by an existing object in nature
for example, 'the wind has makes patterns in the sand'
If this is the aim, I delete my entry , along with many others can do the the same!
Anyone a clarification, please !?

Hi John!

The topic states "Patterns in Nature"....it does not go any further and is open to your interpretation!

Everyone has their own ideas/plan, so just enjoy looking at the entries!

Hope this helps a little bit! :o)

I would have to say either is acceptable for the contest John. The subjects of the contests here at Caedes are loosely defined. This leaves a great deal of room for interpretation and participation by desktop wallpaper artists of all genres.

Edit: Mimi beat me too it :p

You are exactly right about Patterns in Nature vs. Patterns Created in Nature. I think of the first one, as patterns already part of a nature object, such as the leaves of a Palm tree or the veins on a leaf, and the second one would be something such a Beach grasses blowing in the wind and the tips of them making a pattern on the sand. I think there is a definite difference, and I'm glad you brought it up. Verena
