i'm having an upload problem, and i thought i saw a list of supported formats before, but i can't seem to find it.
the image is just a standard optimized JPG, created in photoshop CS, no embedded profile, and nothing funny in the encoding..
any particular reason this would get flagged by the processor?
think its possible meta data or something else being embedded into thefile?
i have run into something similar at work, an EPS image from photoshop CS has issues with the RIP, and color quality becomes an issue with embedded color profiles being mismatched with the rip's color rendering
The way I work around this issue is that I save a TIF copy of an image and then open it in the application named "Preview" and export it as a JPG. Then it uploads with no problems.
Yeah, it looks like the saem problem that we were having a few years ago. Photoshop puts some crazy XML data in the Exif that has to do with printing. For some reason the workaround that I was using to clean it out isn't working any more.
ok, I think I may have fixed it. The problem was that it had to write a temporary file during the cleaning process and it was trying to write it to the wrong place. I just tested it with the file that you gave me and it looks good.
I just uploaded an image that was saved in Photoshop 7 (same problem as with CS) and it uploaded without a problem for the first time ever. I think you finally fixed that bug. YEAH!!! :c)
