I've noticed that the colors in my photos seem to change when I upload images to Caedes. This is only since I've upgraded to Lightroom 3, so the problem is likely something on my end. I export as 8 bit sRGB (my other options are 16 bit and ProPhoto RGB or Adobe RGB (1998) ).
To see the difference, please compare this image at Caedes and this image at Zooomr. It seems that my photos here are less vivid, especially the reddish tones.
Any input on how to correct this would be appreciated! :)
No appreciable difference in colours to mine eyes and monitor here, either.
Although, and this is going to muddy the waters some ... there is an absence of 'something' comparing one to the other on their respective sites.
Which, in my very novice opinion ... makes sense. Differing software processing the images, perhaps, as the most obvious ... browser itself as a factor ...
Key here, however, is 'not appreciable' differences.
And a curiosity ... are you uploading in .png/PNG formats?
I checked my husband's computer, and the images were virtually the same there. Must be something to do with my computer. On my MacBook, the difference is striking.
Les ~ I'm uploading as JPEGS. I think I'll try PNG next time and see if I get better results. Thanks for checking for me.
Weird eh! You will find the png files bigger and the upload time slower. I've always found it a bit strange that we upload png files, as suggested for best quality, but we download jpegs from the site.
