Oh BTW I had a go at making a banana inspired image in Bryce but it's the first time I've used this copy (which I downloaded ages ago while it was free) and it just keeps crashing... I think it might be incompatible with Win 7.

I tried downloading another copy of Bryce and that seems to have done the trick.-Here- Not sure if this qulifies as looking like a banana but not actually being one... I guess it does technically. I alos realised that I have given it the same name as one of the few other entries... but it did look like a boat floating on a swamp at one point.

Points will be awarded and will accumulate from week to week, but right now are only for street cred. If there's interest and participation, I'll see what can be done about something more than that for accumulated point totals. 8•)
3 Regular categories, one to start each week, and will overlap as deadlines will be longer than one week:
1) It looks like a... (create your own image)
2) It is a... (create your own image)
3) I found it! (hunt for images on the site)
Basic rules are: It has to be your own work, and in the creation categories, the images must be artistic and desktop worthy. In the found categories, whoever posts a link to something first wins the points for it.

Let's start with "It looks like a Banana". Something in the image must look like a banana, while NOT being a banana. Upload to the regular category gallery, and post a link here.
1 point awarded successfully uploading a qualifying image.
2 points for super creativity
5 points for best overall image
5 points for best sneak (finding or creating banana lookalike in most unexpected place).
Deadline: 11:59 pm EST on 11/20/11.
