......i have a happy tale to tell! Last week i and many many other artists from here in Bristol (UK) entered into The Bristol Pack Project. It is a chance for 54 local artists to get thier work featured in a special deck of cards that will be going on sale to promote Art in Bristol as part of a nationwide scheme 'The Year of Creativity'.. specific details about The Bristol Pack project can be found HERE

One of the images i decided to submit was my Fey Faux Foto image. And im so happy to say that thanks to this, i have been selected! Im so very excited!!

I'm going to be producing the Ace of Clubs. The deadline for the card image is by the 15 july... But you can all expect to see me posting many many many card designs here as i attempt to use your collective skills of critque to choose and finalise my design!!! Did i mention how excited i am.??!!!

I AM VERY VERY EXCITED!!!

Weird but true: The most popular first name in the world is Muhammad. The most popular last name in the world is Wang. So why isn't Muhammad Wang the most popular name in the world?

That is excellent news. Well done.

Can't get the card link to work, though - it seems to point at this page.

Thanks very much guys!

Pierre i dont think you can see any of the submitted images so far. All submissions have been for the judging panels selection process, to pick the 54 artists. Now that the artists are selected we will all begin work on designing our cards. For anyone in the Bristol area there will be a gallery which will be hosting a launch exhibition for the deck, where all the original artwork will be on display. Otherwise the only way to see the artwork will be to get hold of the Pack! There will be limited stock, (2005 packs are being printed) but perhaps i can grab a few packs aside for a few interested caedes memebers!

The hunt for all the new stock images i need has begun already! I really need to find a boy hanging from a tree! ;)

Maybe you could upload later some cards on caedes.net (with authors authorization, of course) ?
Or give us a link to see it when the pack will be published... :-)
