There are no rules and no prizes- image can be an original b/w, or a conversion. Any subject, any category.

Just post your image on Wednesday in the usual way and place a link to it here.

I will choose my personal favourite the first week with a brief explanation why I would have it on my desktop, and that artist gets to choose their favourite the next week - and so on . .

If anyone wants to know how to create a link, and it's very easy, just follow what is below.

Type, following the steps consecutively below:

1) <
2) a h
3) ref
4) =
5) "
6) web page address (where your info is located; the whole http address)
7) "
8) >
9) the name you give your link
10) <
11) /
12) a
13) >

Be sure to leave a space between the a and the h in step 2. I can't write it out as a formula because it will create a link and you won't see what I am trying to explain. Once you do this a few times, you will see how easy it is.

Hi Lyn,
I've chosen Calendar Lovelies _ B&W by ::tigger3.
It's well composed with the focus at the centre of the foreground flower and everything else progressively less focused. The tones are contrasty but still retaining the detail in the shadow areas and the whole thing perfectly framed in a complimentary border.
