I keep telling people about the site but i don't know how it's pronounced so I have to spell it to them.

My high-school Latin teacher said words spelled that way were pronounced one of two ways. They could be Kiy-dees or Kay-dees according to him. I t depended on whether you chose to accept the pronunciation offered by Catholic (biblical) scholars or neo-classical scholars who chose a different pronunciation.

I always say Kaydeeze but I believe "K'eye'daes" is correct.

Kay'-dess or Kay'-dezz would be technically correct. However, one could make the argument that it is spelled like Caesar. Thus, it would be See'-dess or See'-dezz. Then again, using Latin phonetics, it would be Ky'-dess or Ky'-dezz. I will stick with Kay'-dess.
