The theme for the current contest is "Winter Blues". I understood that as "blues" meaning depression or melancholy and not a blue tinge in the snow. The person who proposed this theme did not clarify what she/he means. So far the contest entries show no melancholy :) Can anybody or the person who proposed the theme clarify this matter?

I would have thought Winter 'Blues'..would be something like depressed or fed-up with the long drawn out winter snow..a lot of folks have had!...

Europe has got off lightly this time...
