Here's an interesting page about how a guy got a digital image of 1 billion pixels. http://www.tawbaware.com/maxlyons/gigapixel.htm. This could be an interesting technique for people who want to make poster-size prints of their photos, but don't have an 11 Megapixel digital camera.

Max Lion yep he does great work! But doesn’t he start out with a betterlght 44mega pixel camera in the first place. I know he use to use negative but he gave up on it after he used a large format Dig.
