I think in the profile there should be a link to the person's works. For example:
[Send a personal message] [ View this user's favorites gallery] [ View this user's submissions] [Complain]
This way when I make a comment on a person's profile for whatever reason, I can immediately look up what, if anything, they've submitted.
---Edit---
Apparently I learned there is a palette below the user's name. Therefore this thread needs to be euthanized unless other people are not aware of the same fact.
My bad--If a moderator could remove this thread it would be nice, otherwise I will accept the general perception that I do not have enough IQ points to fill a shot glass ;-).
I think this thread could bring up a good point. I think when i first started coming around here i also didn't find this link for a little while. I think it may be a tad ambiguos. Not sure how it can be improved though.
"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of a cat? Does it perpetually hover above the ground in indecision when dropped?"
When viewing an artist's single image - you can also click on their username (instead of the word profile) beside the word Author - it will take you to the artist's entire gallery as well.
I think it might be a good idea for someone registering as a new user to be greeted with some sort of tutorial on the parts of their new user profile page and basic navigation. We get a lot of questions from people who havn't found all the hot spots on thier page or know how to go to galleries once they've found something they like.
