However.. if I right-click on it and "Open Link in New Tab".. it will appear in the new tab full-size.
Just need to 'zoom', or, click on the "+".. to get the "full" full-size (not much difference for me, really.. as my monitor's resolution is 1920 X 1200).
There is the same problem with my Dahlia picture, i posted it this morning, someone posted on it but my picture does not show up in New Images gallery and it does not show up in my gallery either.
Yes, i was referring to this photo, i could view it via " Caedes Control " or when someone posted on it but as i said earlier, my picture did not show up in New Images gallery and it did not show up in my gallery either. Not sure how Ram(Raj)... could post on my picture? he is not in my friends list either.
Well, it seems to be an anomaly.. in that some can view and some can't.
Hopefully it gets sorted out soon.
Insofar as Ramad; aka Raj seeing your image?
He was probably looking through the New Images galleries and saw it and thought to comment. He has a few photos of dahlias in his own galleries, as well as, other flower images.
"In case anyone has trouble while on the image's page here clicking and viewing (it won't open full-size for me).. right-click and select; "Open Link in New Tab" will allow you to view full-size.
If I simply click on the image.. page goes opaquely 'grey'."
Was looking through member ro_and's galleries and noticed that "Carcassonne 12" was not displaying for me there.
Just a white area where the thumbnail should be.
But.. if I go to the next successive upload, namely; "Carcassonne 13" ... and once on that image's page use the >> keys to navigate backwards to that of "Carcassonne 12" ... et voila. The image's page displays a thumbnail and I can view it full-size once clicked.
With 'Whistling Past The Graveyard' using purmusic's link above (to gr8fulted's gallery) there is a blank space where the image should be in my browsers Edge, Maxthon, Chrome, Firefox and Avast Secure Zone. In IE it is there and in Safari on my ipad it is there.
However, using this direct link to the image page it opens with no problem in all browsers http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Caedes::Infopage&image=gr8fulted-1477841623.jpg
Being Halloween, maybe such an image is being spooked by ghosty gremlin type thingimebobs :) I think I hear faint whistling . . . . . ..

Using the navigation arrows (<< .. >>) in either the member's gallery for the image in question, or, that of the New Images gallery.. are the current workarounds for some of these images that are not properly displaying for some members.
Go to the preceding or succeeding image.. use the navigation arrows (<< .. >> ... found at the top of the page and on either side of the thumbnail and are coloured blue).. and navigate back or to the image that won't display for you.
Tomeast's "Cloudy shore 2" was not displaying in the approval queue.
Just that of the following was showing..
Cloudy shore 2 by Tomeast, photography->shorelines gallery
... no image.
Same (for me, at least) if you visit his personal galleries.
It can, however, be accessed using the navigation arrows, both, in the New Images galleries and that of his personal galleries. And can then be viewed full-sized.
Image would not display in the approval queue or in the New Images galleries.
But.. using the navigation arrows on an adjacent image while in the New Images galleries.. could go to image's page and there it was, available for full-size viewing.
All images going from Seagulls by Elektronist to Gogg's Darkness are not appearing in thumbnail or screensized. I tried Foxfire, Chrome, IE and it was all the same. Featured images are not displaying, either. This started fairly early in the evening and it is now 3am and still isn't resolved.
Another image that does not display in the New Images Galleries (simply white space, no image.. title appears below).. yet.. is accessible to view via the navigation arrows of successive image:
It has happened in the past that a member has uploaded an image in a format that was not compatible with the site.. i.e. TIFF.. with the results being that the image would not display.
(In this instance.. if you clicked to view full-size.. a gray opaque screen would appear and cover the page.)
But, in this thread, we have instances of absolutely nothing at all displaying. No thumbnail.. nadda.
So, I am leaning away from just an image format problem and towards this issue being browser and server related.
I can see the picture you mentioned above "Well, That's A Relief" but it does not work via " New Images " or gr8fulted's galleries, a blank white square shows up, thanks for pointing it out.
Can see thumbnail in image approval queue.. but, once on the image's actual page in the member's galleries.. nothing. Not even the white blank square/space.
For what it is worth - Dappled Hill I first viewed on my ipad - and it displayed ok. Maxthon is my main browser on PC - no go. Also it will not display on Sea Monkey or Google Chrome. Nothing at all,no space where it should be, just Name, Copyright info then the description. I do see the thumbnail in New Images.
I can see it on Edge, Firefox and Vivaldi and also on Avast Safezone Browser.

I don't understand but will bow to your knowledge. I downloaded the image and although it has been uploaded at 20 MB it is just 1.32MB after being resized by the site. It is also not as large as some others 2160x1440 pixels. However the dpi is 351. Most are 72, maybe that has a bearing. It just seems weird you can not see it on Firefox but I can.

Sorry for the confusion... I was talking about too many images. :-)
The one that was 20 MB was last night's one... whazzitcalled??.... er... ah, A Bright Spot. That's the 20 MB file, and it was slow loading.
Just to check, as I still have the same PNG I uploaded (I put them in my wallpaper gallery), Dappled Hill was 1.9 MB.
I think your previous suspicion or pointer is the correct one, that it's something to do with Firefox. I did have Firefox open, and though I wouldn't deliberately opt to upload using it, I might have done so thinking it was Safari. They are both fairly featureless, so I'd just type my password in to log in, et voila.

Something I had not considered before, and that Cornelius addressed on his image's page.. that of the 32-bit version of Firefox versus the 64-bit version.
Provided you have 64bit windows you can upgrade to 64bit Firefox without loosing your settings. No need to uninstall the 32 bit version (which is the default install) and easy to revert back to 32 as default if for some strange reason you decide you like it better. Instructions are here https://www.howtogeek.com/298291/how-to-upgrade-firefox-from-32-bit-to-64-bit-in-windows-without-reinstalling/

As I had tried Waterfox in the past. And lost track of keeping track for a release of a 64-bit version of Firefox.. till noticing it in the last weeks.
Right click on the page and select; "View Page Source".
Then..
Do a search, via Ctrl+F for "cloudfront".. which should bring you to the storage location of, and for the example here..
<*a href="http://dr92wy3r2elps.cloudfront.net/il/LynEve-1499605013.jpg" target="_blank" id="fullsizelink"> width="399" height="274" src="http://dr92wy3r2elps.cloudfront.net/Ry/LynEve-1499605013.jpg" border="0" alt="Click here to view at full resolution." onclick="return zoom(2858,1961)" ><*/a>
(^ Note: Asterisks (*) have been added so that the site doesn't convert.)
Can see the thumbnail in the New Images galleries.. but, once on the page in his personal galleries.. nothing. Blank space, only the accompanying narrative in place.
In Firefox, Edge and Maxthon the thumbnail square on the personal gallery page is empty but the full size image displays just by clicking on the words 'Click here to view he full size resolution'

I went back through this discussion thread and the images listed and a couple of things came to pass:
i) Some of the images now display.. no problems. ii) The images that are not displaying.. the words and clickable; "Click here to view the full size resolution".. does not appear.

"On the Rocks" by Kathy; aka trixxie17.. just greys out when trying to view full-size.
... ...
Again, viewing in Firefox here.
And as reported by another member on the image's page in the comments by Constance52347.. no issues viewing via Internet Explorer. (Chrome is a no go, though.)

No thumbnails in either of his personal galleries or that of the New Images. Just blank white space.
However..
Can access the image's page by using the site's navigation arrows and once there, thumbnail is present and accounted for, as well as, no issues viewing full-size.
I only have access to safari on I Pad right now and all aspects are displaying perfectly. I will check in browsers on pc later I think that gremlin is up to its tricks again !!

Not working on Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Vivaldi. Maxthon displays the frame where it should be and is clickable to the full size image. IE - that works.

Could not view while in the New Images approval queue.
Still can't view in New Images gallery, as well as, in the member's galleries.
Yet.. it did seem to have been approved?
