This morning, I wasn't able to connect to the Caedes website at all. Instead, I got an error, saying the the Caedes server was experiencing an internal error. I notified the Caedes webmaster. Then I was finally able to connect. So I wrote the webmaster back and said nevermind.
BUT, the site has been slow and frequently unresponsive all day. I also noticed that no new images have been added. So I expect that everyone is having issues.
I hope they are able to correct the issue(s) soon!

... I should have written that the pages load ok, or, well enough, but any images (i.e. avatars or the image on the page itself) seem to be problematic at this time.

As the Featured images are cycling/rotating.. some would not display. And this included the Featured images from the Main galleries (furthest right image of the three).
I make mention of the above, as I don't think this bump in the road is only relegated to new uploads/posts.

Not sure if things are right yet. I just uploaded an image called "Blue Blossoms". It was visible until I clicked 'finalize and submit' when it disppeared into thin air. I immediately reuploaded the same image with the same narrative - called it "Little Blue Blossoms' and that worked. Nothing was changed except the title.

I saw both your images in the approval queue, though, and as of this writing here. And could view both; thumbnails and full-sizes.
Not sure what exactly is happening, my conjecture would be that it seems.. seems, that is.. that the site servers are playing catch-up in some regards.
However.. Bruce's; aka Flmngseabass recent upload of "Spiked Sphere" is not displaying at all at this time. No thumbnail, nadda.
I tried to access the image's page by going to a previous image in his galleries and using the navigation arrows.. as I was going to add it to this list.. but, that was not possible either.
I'll check Bruce's image in a while, to see if it finally shows up like yours did and will update.
I did approve Bruce's image, however. So, if anyone else does or can see it.. by all means report it back to this discussion thread.
ETA: Ok, I just tried using the navigation arrows while in the new images galleries and could see and view Bruce's "Spiked Sphere".
So.. to do so..
Go the image that either precedes or follows Bruce's image in the new images galleries.. at the top of the page beside the thumbnail are arrows (<< .. >>) clicking on them will get you to the page and you can then view.
I have noticed a weird thing.. posting in off topic I get told to go and twiddle my thumbs as it is less than 20 seconds since my last post. Not so. Not at all. Usually on second attempt my message posts.

Actually the "flood control error" started showing up with the arrival of the spambots. Just a measure to try and thwart their activity and proliferation, in short.
And very much to my own personal chagrin.
Mind, it's better than what it was some time back.. as I used to get the error.. a.. lot.
I thought 'someone' was trying to tell me something about *my* commenting.
Is it only me that is seeing this flood control peculiarity ? I just made my first comment since logging on.It is 12.21am here and I have not been logged in since last evening, probably about 23 hours ago. According to the message I made a comment less than 20 seconds ago - again. Who is this gremlin ? I did write a pm to a member regarding the BWC but even that was longer than 20 secs ago. It doesn't matter, I can wait 20 seconds, no problem but it is weird. I have to ask myself each time 'did I just write a comment?' and I am beginning to doubt my sanity. (no need to comment on that aspect, thank you) :) :)
EDit 10 mins later: It is just ridiculous - I can not even write a comment in 20 seconds - it takes me that long to THINK let alone type.

It happens to me too -- not all the time, but often enough. Sometimes I wonder if somebody else has just commented somewhere, and that affects the next person to comment.

See.. there's the key right there.
Use my method of commenting.. 'don't think.. just type'.
;o)

I just got the 'flood control error' message with this post, lol.
Mind you, that might be the answer, or, one of the reasons that triggers it.. in that I had just commented/posted on a number of discussion threads and replied to some PMs in quick succession.
And still pointing to the efforts to cut down on the creation of spambot accounts and their associated posts.
Nope, I can and have got one when trying to post a first comment after logging in. That message is out to get me. It has been trained to attack my posts. :) :) I will battle on regardless lol. I shall try not to think, it should not be that difficult.

Flood control is in control yet again. Even my first post for hours gave the message again. It improved for awhile and now back to annoy. However, not complaining (only a little maybe) Just reporting

Other sites are alright.
Is anyone else noticing this ?
