I have just launched a website containing some of my personal collection of images i have aquired over the years in the Highlands of Scotland. I really enjoy this photography and wish to continue with it however i have costs to cover with it so i need to find out if im going to be aqble to sustain it. If so where are the best places to market my images? Please feel free to browse the sight www.morton-images.0catch.com and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Graft? Graft? Ah, now where can I get some of that ^_^
But to return to seriousness - yes, there are those who make a living from their photography. But there are some questions you need to answer to yourself - you should recognise them as fairly standard for any person who wants to have a business, whether a small (or even tiny) hobby-type business up to the larger full-time ones. How much do you want to make out of your images. How much hard work are you prepared to put in. What is your target market. Where are my customers? How are my competitors operating and what do I have to offer that makes me different? I'm sure you can find numerous more questions.
You've begun that research process by posting this thread. now you just need to keep the momentum going :)
