5?I've had an image stuck at 6 votes for awhile with no c-index....any ideas as to what causes that?

Something's changed of late....don't know what and don't have the time or inclination to work too hard to figure it out - - but people are simply not voting as much of late...they're looking, but they're not taking the time to vote as often as they did awhile back. If they weren't looking either, I'd simply think that they weren't drawn to my work, but they are looking, they're just not voting. Anyone else notice this trend increasing?

Yes, I agree. I am getting about 40 views and 5 votes for one of the pictures I uploaded. People just aren't voting as much. I think it should be mandatory after viewing the full size image (it only takes 2 seconds). To add to that, people should not be allowed to vote if they haven't seen the image full size. It is unfair to judge a picture just by the thumbnail.

As I understand it, a new voting system is around the corner here on Caedes. I agree with you...Take a big look AND vote. The two should go hand in hand.

This isn't a new problem. Unfortunately it has been going on for a while, in addition to the fact that the number of new images being posted daily appears to have increased quite dramatically, leading to fewer votes.

Whatever, I (almost) always vote on images I check.

Yes Ive noticed it also. There seems to be a huge difference. Maybe they dont want to take the time out of their summer day.

I'm not worried about votes. When I upload a piece of work, I do it for the members to look it over and download if it's to their liking. Some like it, some do not. The number of downloads say if it is liked or not. If a vote is forced, will people take the time to really look at it or just pick a number?

Good point i think was made by ebjo...if voting is made mandatory, then perhaps people whom are simply searching for a new wallpaper will pick a random number, just to get it.

I appreciate comments and criticism much more than votes personally.
