I would like to suggest that consideration may be given to a limit being placed on the number of creds that can be awarded on a single post by one person, to prevent mischievous use of them.
Awarding creds numbering in the hundreds is peculiar and not done for any good reason..

What you are suggesting would entail a change in the site's coding.

However..

If you feel it is a worthy pursuit and expenditure of time and effort for *caedes.. put it up as a suggestion.

Nah, after further thought it would not be worth a coding change. It was a knee-jerk reaction on my part after being the target of a 'cred attack'

Misuse of a feature for a silly reason is just a waste of time and space but not world-shattering.
Some people pop bubble-wrap others click creds - to each their own.
