Pond Predator by rahto has been selected as this week's Image of the Week!

What a great stop action shot! The detail is incredile as the viewer can see the dragonfly finishing off its meal! Dragonflies are super fast as they dart about, so to capture one munching its meal is a feat all on its own. The depth of field properly accentuates the Dragonfly and creates an amazing image so the viewer can feast their eyes on all the details in this image.

However, in a surprise twist... A first here is dual winners!

The striking coloration of this image makes it a standout as well. The outstanding detail not only of the Kingfisher bird but of the fish as its meal is well done. One can see much detail in this well captured image with a quiet background that really highlights everything in this capture.

It appears the artists are really putting the mods to work trying to pick just 1 image. Good job, even though we sweat bullets picking just one :)
