Living Leaf by rahto has been selected as this week's Image of the Week!

Darker colors are well balanced to bring drama to this butterfly image. The artist's capture of the butterfly in a sideways orientation of the butterfly creates an interesting POV that is at once immediately obvious and yet a little off-kilter, drawing the viewer in for a deeper look. The clear focus captures tiny details including the hard life this butterfly has been living to pick up - or lose that is - some battle scars evident in missing little dips of the wings.
