Finding a fractal that speaks to you is always a matter of exploring and tweaking until you come up with a final result that resonates. Here, the artist has taken that fractal and used it as base material for a recognizable impression of something else entirely. The mastery is in both the small details and the choice of how to warp it to create the next level of the image while retaining all the intricacy of the original fractal. Warm earth tones blend and contrast adding to the interest of the image and the impression of fabric crafting.
