Was there a vote and if so, are there no winners in the "Like a Dream" contest?

Bruce suggested a mod choose the winner.

Is this a consensus of artists or would you prefer to wait & see if the issue is fixed?

mimi, I would be fine with the mod finalizing the contest but let me ask, how was this issue handled on the recent other contests with only five or six entrees that did have final results of the voting?

Any other contest winner was chosen via the voters ( no, In do not know who they are)..

In any recent contests where no winner was announced, I have no clue what is happening.

Those contests are set up via an algorithm that *CAEDES set up several years ago because multiple artists on the site always wanted a contest.

His algorithm is his alone.

No mod knows anything about it.

mimi, thank you. You have always been so kind to us with your replies to our questions. I am only asking because I am confused. "Like a Dream" had six contestants and no results. However, July had only five, June had six, and April had six and all three of these contests had results. So, if it is done with algorithms, then it appears there has been a modification made to it that has changed the parameters. I guess only Geri can give us some insight into that. Thanks again for your information. mimi, you are the mod we can always count on.

OMG Sam, if that was the problem, then let's not restrict who votes to just those who are invited to vote. If that was the cause preventing a contest result, then let's open the voting up to all?

The contests...any of them....No point in posting in competitions if no winner and places are announced....Effectively nulling the word Contest out..R.
