I've been working with Terragen for the past week and I've been able to get less than simply good results, can anyone offer me any pointers on this program. Especially with the Atmosphere, Sun, and well practically everything, I've tried the tutorials but they haven't helped me out at all.

to get good evident sun rays, go to cloud settings and increase the density to 119 and the density shift to 30. put altitude at 500 and sky size 10,000. the lower the cloud darkening the better evident the sun rays. put darkening around 14% and cloud color should be dark. the sun strength needs to 1,000 or more. shadows go were desired. go to lighting of atmosphere and increase glow power to 150%. any more questions im ready to help. i find that i can get the best help by going to dogpile and typing "terragen" or "terragen tutorials" or "terragen atmospheres" etc. hope that helps

or you can just tweak the settings until you get the right effect. Is probably the best way, then you know what happens at certain settings.
