I have some gothic images that, while I was taking them, I was thinking "These could be part of a really cool manipulation, but I have no idea how to do it!". I still feel that way about them even though they are many moons old. Would anyone be interested in reworking them?
It would need to be a multiple image crop-n-paste job, a severe manipulation (think CanoeGuru and grimbug). You two are both welcome, as well as anybody else that would like to take part. I have no stock image website, so email will be the way to go.
This is a fairly vague proposition ... most people would be inspired by the image as to what they could do with it
set up an account at Deviant-Art .. it costs nothing (just say 'no thanks' when they ask for money) .. you could even declare it to be a STOCK account, open to all, you set the rules for usage ... or ... just have a few "stock" images in your "scraps" folder
Upload what you want and it stays there until the next server crash .. ;o)
HERE is a link to "RULES" set up by one group of stock photographers ... this is more extensive than most people ... others just say "if you use it let me know .. or I kill you" .. or something equally eloquent
I'd be willing to bet Stuff-n-Stuff-Stock hasn't been claimed yet .. better hurry
or ... just post the image here and let it live the lifespan of an image doomed by fate and the Gods ... say "this is for Caedes members usage for photomanipulation for the time span it is available" ... You could even treat it as a CONTEST ... you know, a contest with no prize ... this would elevate you in the eyes of those who make decisions and, pretty soon, you're promoting rock concerts .. or something
stuffnstuff's stupendous, starstudded 'stravaganza of storied stickfigures
Sorry about the vagueness that was made worse by my interenet protection. It was supposed to be "Gothic Manipulation" instead of " ic Manipulation". I am on a different computer now, so now I can type in those things. :-) The pictures are of statues that seem to be depicting the darkest age of the church, but they were taken in broad daylight in a public place. I knew it would be a tough scrap job, so I took several pictures at several angles. I don't currently have the spare time to make a stock site, so email will have to do. Let me know if you want to see them, regardless of whether or not you want to rework them.
I'd like to see them...we're studying the gothic architectural style in a heritage class right now...but I doubt I could do anything very great manipulation-wise. But if you have the time and don't mind if I look at them, I'll try my best!... drpep89@hotmail.com =)

I am starting to think that the photos aren't so great apart from the fact that they do not make good stock images. My apologies to all who have seen them.
