I was very fortunate to lay my hands on a Wacom pad, its just the basic A-5 Intuos pad. Ive had the chance to mess around with it for a few hours and have posted the two images ive manged to draw free hand, 'Literation' and the latest 'And so She was written..'. I'm in the position to consider purchasing my own pad now! And while Im looking into what ones to get, I would appreciate any opinions that fellow pad junkies may have for me!
I'm going to be wanting to continue exploring my photo montage manipulations and wondered if any of the different versions of pads out there might be more suitable to my needs?
Grim - I use the A4 Intuos 3 pad and have had no problems with it. its very good resololution and nice slimline design - the tools work well but dont really feel tactile enough to justify their high cost. works much better in Alias Sketch Book than it does in Photoshop though. the programmable 4d mouse or whatever they call it is useful for setting keystroke functions as are the sliders on the tablet itself. in all - great if a little pricey.
well i can get hold of a 'used' (ex-display) A4 Intuos 3 pad on the wacom site for £250 but i think id rather just fork over the £340 for a fresh from the factory version and wear it in myself!

Cheers, GRiM!
