I'm pretty lucky to live in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales so I get plenty of good photo locations within a 50 mile radius so thats pretty useful other than that - my favourite places elsewhere around the world would be:
1. Kauai
2. Snowdonia/The Lakes & Scottish Borders
3. The Pyrenees
4. The Greek Islands
5. The Maldives

Portugal is a country where the colors are really great. Maybe because of the wind coming from the atlantic. Same for Namibia

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.
My first and biggest love is the Maine coast. I can't get enough of it. Monhegan Island is by far and large my favorite place. Accippiter (sp?) has some spectacular shots from there.
I also love a little place called Hobbit Land in Hallowell, (central) Maine. A lot of those pictures tend to come out the best for me. It's one of those places that makes it hard to take a bad photo.
