Can someone please explain why in photoshop (CS2) I can be working on a project, and I get my font the way I want it (at 11px), and all if fine. But I can start another project with the same proportions, same zoom percent, and the font size 11, is huge? It's really getting on my nerves, any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

or have you switched your units preferences around?

hm... I believe they are all 72 dpi (not sure if that's what you mean).
I noticed that the only time i have this problems is when I take one of my fullsized images, resize the picture down to 800 pixels wide, and then try to type. Is there something else I need to change when I resize it?

hmm - if they are all the same size and resolution then the only thing that springs to mind is the units preferences

hm... Well, I noticed that it said 240 dpi, so I changed it to 72 dpi and all seems fine now. (is it not a good idea to have it on 72 dpi? I'm really not sure how all that works.)

I've noticed the same thing .. can't explain it .. I usually work at 3200x2400 x 300dpi

and the only text I usually do is my signature .. and I'm anywhere from 4 to 12 ...

I've experienced the same phenomenon on occasion. Sadly I have not worked out a solution though.
