TPBM means "The Person Below Me"
You justify the above statement by the person above you by saying True or False, and then supplying a new statement. Example:
User 1: tpbm loves chocolate.
User 2: True. tpbm eats fish.
User 3: False. tpbm likes the color pink.
User 4: False. And so on...
'Downsizing'.. would be the operative descriptor, I suppose.
... ...
As to your query?
I had actually taken early possession to facilitate the moving, and as of this writing.. have grown into the place quite nicely over the last month or so.
And this.. in light of the loss of interior/exterior real estate.
Wow -- :-0 -- we demand photos (wallpaper) of this escarpment thingie, even if you have to buy a telescope lens. ;-)
False, I haven't been out in the sun that much, though we were out in it today and I felt sick. Scots are more used to drizzle, fog, and damp Black Houses.
TPBM Is wondering if there's any point having a smartphone as well as a tablet.
I am not sure how effective pressure is towards ensuring a 'positive' outcome, regardless of the situation, thing.. whichever and whatever.
A lil' is no a bad thing, can motivate.. spur one on.
But, getting hit from different sides doesn't sound good good.
True here, too.
Working through it, though.. with copious music interludes/breaks.
TPBM lost electrical power early this morning when trying to post this.. and was surprised to have been able to restore their browser session *and* more so.. this post.
I followed the link and the page immediately said "From the United Kingdom? These items only ship to Canada." Huh. They look cosy, anyway. There were ones I bought years ago that had a fleece flap that could unfold at the top to cover your ankles... comforting.
Any sort of pressure... I feel like this guy (though it was a mango I was attacking!)
False, didn't lose power or posts, thankfully.
TPBM had a good question to ask but has already forgotten it.
Ohhh.....That happens all the time, methinks it is the ages. Or when you got do the shopping for evening dinner, most of the time I forget something :o\
TPBM has to work only one day and then vacation :o))
False, sadly. Have finished my eating for the night. The sweetest thing I had today was a bit of cheesecake.
TPBM loves Evelyn Williams's dress. (I can't hear the TV just now which is why I'm not commenting on her voice or singing... but it seems to be going down really well).
True i'm investing a number of peoples funds in a global venture. Naturally we are going to need a lot of string and cans, my neighbours and my garage are already full, his of string.
TPBM
Has decided to rename the planet to a name that they think is more suitable.
Nope, not here, frig almost empty, cupboards are empty, seems like I have to do some shopping sadly, cause it's not 1 of my favorite jobs on my to do list :o|
TPBM thinks it's hard to believe that it is August already!
Well, paper wasps anyway. They've decided to nest outside my kitchen window, and poor lost critters keep finding their way to the wrong side of the wall. I inform them forcefully that stingers are not welcome in my house ...
TPBM is wondering which continent dumped all its mosquitoes in his/her backyard this summer.
Truish... In the middle of a break, but I've been doing some serious book-eating recently... I mean, reading. More are lined up, but I keep getting sidetracked by cooking, butterflies and YouTube videos.
TPBM keeps buying baking ingredients or spices that get used once then forgotten... till they have to be thrown away.
And more so on the note of baking supplies. Not sure what the shelf-life of flour is.. but.. ... well, now I am curious:
"Shelf Life: about one year if properly stored in a sealed container or if tightly wrapped in the freezer. It will keep several months in a cool, dry cabinet. Shelf Life: millet flour will keep for about 2 months in the refrigerator and 6 months or longer in the freezer."

TPBM has actively been keeping two seasons of wardrobe going for the last week or so.
Not really... I go for one season of wardrobe with a shirt or cardigan pulled on top when required. There is really perky weather at night now, and periods of fog and heavy rain, but maybe the weather isn't too bad here yet.
TPBM likes denim shirts, but is fussy about the style. No short, waisted ones for me, and they have to be real denim, and there shouldn't be gaudy embroidery on it, and the sleeves shouldn't be short and narrow (they're just being mean with the material when they do that... it's nothing to do with fashion!) If I can roll up the cuffs and have room to move, it's a good shirt.
89.50 Canadian dollars (52.90 in British money, if the converter I found is legit). Har...
It's OK, but the kind of thing I have in mind is more this one. I was actually tempted to buy it, but I'm not sure about the rips. I prefer to rip my own!
False, haven't watched any movies recently (or that particular documentary).
TPBM should stop buying clothes. But they are so tempting....!
TPBM is thinking about taking their camera for a stroll while it's still golden and sunny.
EDIT: Meant to say the roasted peanuts and cashews came out very nicely. No oil; just soaked for two hours then roasted dry. I was supposed to put salt in the soaking water but didn't notice, so I didn't.
True! 1. Don't turn on the burner without something on it. Particularly don't try to straighten the coils after turning it on without something on it. 2. Make sure you turn on the burner under the food you're trying to cook, not a nearby burner. This may require carefully studying the hieroglyphics intended to indicate which knob is for which burner. 3. A timer is no substitute for checking manually.
Speaking of roasting nuts, I trying soaking almonds before roasting because I was tired of how hard they were, but they actually came out even harder. So I've switched to cashews ...
TPBM wished the weather would take a look around and see the leaves falling and get with the program. 90 degrees is not fall >:-(
1. Have charred marks on my wooden spoons from doing just this. 2. Been there, done this.. kinda, sorta. A lil' twist on the adage; "A watched pot never boils". 3. It helps if your clocks, or, whatever timing devices are employed.. are in sync. Ie. If your pc is the accurate clock.. use it.. not the stove clock that gains/loses time immediately after resetting.
Seeing some telltales signs of fall here as well. Seems a bit premature?
There are some things I'd like to get away from, but it would be permanent, rather than a temporary break, and it would benefit everyone. So I'd say at least partially true, as there are other things I don't want to get away from at all.
TPBM would like Hannah to post more on the Off Topics, and the same goes for everyone else. :-)
True for some of that. T-shirt and... coat, rather than jacket. Bought a sad little chilli plant from local supermarket because they put it outside in the chill wind and reduced the price. I thought it was cruel to leave it there. Then a ladybird latched onto us in the carpark and sat on the chilli, which must have seemed an oasis in the sea of shining cars.
At home I found the ladybird had hooked onto above-mentioned T-shirt and wouldn't let go. This is what happens when you buy plants from supermarkets... they throw in a free bug.

And here is the first post:
TPBM is very very happy this thread is back.
