I was using apophysis, rendered an image like normal, when i open it it looks fine and everything. When i open up photoshop and changed the contrast there was this black horizontal line right in the middle of the image! -,- not exactly the greatest thing to have. For example see Nigel's two images Flurrywhich doesnt have a line andFlurry 2 which has a line. Explanations plz so I can be lineless???
uh dont think so...nigel used apophysis 2.02 or something of the sort i think and i just rendered one in 2.04 beta. But it only appeared when i changed the contrast in photoshop.
hmm that didnt work either..but i do see a very faint black line before i even edit it in photoshop with mine. It could be part of the render and i just dont even know it. Shadow sort of thing. On nigels its prolly just not noticable until he changed his colors around. Thats my guess
Hmmm, I've never had that happen to me so I'm sorry I'll be of no help. I do see the thin line you're speaking of...weird. I run both Apop 2.03c as well as the 2.04 beta and I use PS7 to tweak hues and saturations but never had that line before. Will advise in future if it happens and will follow thread to see where goes. Again, sorry me no help.
If you are using the "export flame" to render instead of the render button(gear looking cog thingy...yes this is the technical term for it) that could be the problem...the export flame renders in strips(for those that dont have the computing power of a "Deep Blue" computer) these strips are then put back together..you should use flam3 when rendering this way...handy little tool..now if you are using the render button...hmm..not really sure what would be causing it...I would reopen my flame...duplicate the main triangle(which kinda makes two layers on top of each other) then re-render...hope this helps.
i think i understood that...sounds "logical" lol...Im just going Flame ---> render to disk. Ill try the flam3 thing and export it, im still confused about that part though. But i think i can do it. Next flame render...
