Hi - since we're only allowed one upload per day, is there a way to upoad images to my gallery without them going into the "new images" gallery? In other words, could I upload, say, 5 images in a day, but only have one of them go into the new images gallery in order to still meet this daily limit? Or does everything I post automatically go into the "new images" gallery? Thanks!

Everything you post goes straight into the New Images to stay there for about a month. I doubt you would be allowed to upload more than 1 image a day (for non-Cadre members) as they want to keep the flow of images into the site steady.

Caedes isn't a site that's intended for personal storage so there wouldn't be much point in being able to upload images without them going into the public galleries.

the limit also serves the purpose of requiring you to "self edit" a little bit .. and post only your best works

back when I was doing fractals everyday there were some works that just kept getting passed over when it came time to post .. and as a result were never posted .. those that were around at that time and saw the dreck I posted find that hard to believe

Jeff, when you join the Cadre, you can upload 2 images per day. And they mail you a Caedes t-shirt, coffee mug, mouse pad, and poster....lol, just kidding about the free stuff..

hehehehe.. I know when baby big ears berfday is.. it's......... still a few months away.. lol
