a gallery should open up that is just vector.

I don't know exactly what constitutes a vector image. I wouldn't have thought there would be enough?

Excuse me for being stupid! I know what a vector is. but what do you mean by a vector image please explain? I know that fractals use vectors and so do three D also.

I see no reason for a vector gallery.

im guessing by vector image he means an illustration done entirely by hand in a vector drawing program and not involving any photography at all

or photographed then rendered into vector shades.

A vector gallery would be nice. I have several pieces that I drew in Illustrator.

illustrator is probably the best pc tool to help aid or create the works. personally i would like to be able to sort through vector, and not pick-up the other photos. i know this place is photo based. but, one could take a photo and then edit it with (illustrator). this is my point.
Caedes do you have any input or is this a lost cause?

i have quite a lot of illustrator created images in my gallery - i think they make just as good a desktop as a photo does - although i seam to be virtually alone in this opinion :-)

there is nothing wrong with this

A half-decent Illustrator user can create an image just as (if not more) interesting than a photograph. Vector art depends more on the technical talents than on aesthetic value.
Example-
Photo: Ooooh that's pretty!
Vector: Wow! that's nice...it blows my mind! How'd he do that?

But that's just my opinion.

Vector images would fall under the Illustrations grouping that has been discussed else-where in the discussion board. :c)

then what are we waiting for or is there more?
