It really is Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada and it is a beautiful photo. My cousins are vacationing in this area and they sent me this photo. Since it is so good and I was not there and did not take the photo, I decided to name it appropriately. I am posting this with their permission. I did a little editing but I really did not need to do much. I checked it on my software and it was taken with a Nikon Coolpix L10. It has 5 megapixels and I thought it did a great job. Do not tell my cousins I said that.
These particular cousins are a couple of confirmed bachelors. One retired from working for the Social Security Department, while the other was a teacher and has taught all over the world. Mostly he taught on American military bases overseas. He taught computer understanding in Korea, Sicily and Germany to name a few places. Both of them (Dick & Bud) have a keen sense of humor and are a complete joy to be around. They bicker back and forth and it reminds you of watching the old movie and TV show "The Odd Couple." One exception, they are both Felix. Bud is a spitting image for Santa Claus and I will show you in a later post. Needless to say the kids all over the world love him. He said he has been called Santa Claus in many different languages.
I believe they were going on a float trip today. This was taken July 21 and I left the people in to give it some perspective. Don't love it too much or I will never hear the end of it from Santa.
