I know how SEFA-Susanne loves the evening light so I thought this might make her feel better. This is a place I spend a lot of time just watching for deer. "There went one!" "Did you see it?"

Pretty with the rolls of yellow hay in the field and the darker blue late day sky above. So serene and sure Susanne will adore this late day view. In Hilton Head I saw more golf courses then I have ever seen in one place in my life in fact behind our condo there was one.

The pale mid-winter sunlight seems like a perfection on the landscape... it also suits my mood right now... Winter scenes can be as beautiful in their own way as midsummer landscapes.

I really like the contrast here from top to bottom, between the green-gold field and deep blue evening sky. It reminds me so much of the rolling hills south of home here where I used to hunt deer with my father's family, many years ago. A very peaceful and quiet scene, perfect for a get well card for a friend. Best wishes possible for Susanne and all of you willing to share with her.
