See Mr. C.

This it the female Cardinal the male was watching over this Spring. She was in the Rosebush by my backdoor. The rosebush was replanted from my wife's grandmothers property. My daughter called her Grandma Happy. (Her name was Hatfield.) Being such a Cardinal fan, I felt it an honor that she chose this rosebush to start a family.

I thought long and hard before I posted this for Cornelius and his wife. After much pondering, I feel it is a perfect tribute for wives and mothers everywhere. It shows how devoted to the family they are and how they endure endless hours caring for the ones they love. My prayers are with you Mrs. C and your entire family.

Perfect. The very first 10 out of 10. Technical work is flawless. You have become an artist with your camera and your skill in post shot processing. One fave, one AC nomination and a big, wet French kiss from Dorothy.

P.S. Whatever happened to your Missouri contests? I'm fired up and ready to vote four times a day.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
