(Main) contests->b/w challenge
When I get a chance, I'm going to take a seat on this bench and just relax. In the meantime, I will be busy watching grandsons run around the bases or trying to run down a baseball. If I'm not doing that, I will be chasing a little white ball myself. Some people get high on grass, I will be busy keeping the grass from getting high. In other words, life is extremely busy in my little corner of the world. Daylight savings time is not really saving me any time. It seems to keep me busier. I'm not complaining just letting you know that I won't be commenting or posting for a while. I don't want to post photos without commenting on yours, so a break is in order. Check the bench once in a while and perhaps we can visit and have a a sip of the "tonic of the day." I will leave you with this song. Hopefully I will still have energy for this. :)

Watching the grandkids, playing baseball, mowing the grass, not bad pastimes my friend. Enjoy your time with them and the well earned break.

By all means, take a break SOT...but don't stay away too long...meanwhile, I'll be very happy to save this image and this spot to relax on myself...it's a fabulous b/w with wonderful textural qualities...hope you stick it in the challenge before leaving.

I too got two links to this image don't know if it's Caedes problem or you submitted twice - an excellent image to leave with - wonderful tones and textures - after this winter you deserve to enjoy the daylight and the weather!

We have 'spoken' of this recently old friend!...You notice my Bum ain't on that seat either!...Busy times indeed..and not a lot of time to do it all in!...We have to enjoy what we love, so I 'Know' we can keep in touch!...

Tick I've read your narrative with much interest and came to the conclusion that grandpa's like you and me are probably dealing with the same 'problem'.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
You take care when you sit on that bench if you fall sleep some one might itch it up to a horse and you will be on your way to who knows lol.Very nice capture and lovely texture and light plus spot focus control too.plus it sound great just kicking back and watching the grand kids with a drink too.
