Small town America is going away. Our town square has become almost a parallel with two sides of the square almost gone. Strong winds, fires, old age and a general lack of TLC has contributed to this problem. It is a "sad but true," situation.

All of the pictured destruction happened within the last ten years. Three separate cameras were used in the production of this collage. Ipiccy was selected to provide the collage. The photos were mostly direct from the camera but I put it in the manipulation category because of the collage. Not a pretty sight I know, but it's my town...take it or leave it!

I like the 3D collage you have created Tick. Must have taken some time to put it all together. The result is interesting and very unusual.

You had your thinking cap on for this, Tick. That's an amazing collage. All the pieces are interesting, and the whole thing was really put together well. Looks like a winner to me. Awesome and amazing entry for the contest.

If I lived there too, we could call it "Our Town." I am sure Thornton Wilder would approve of your collage and just maybe he would also feel the sadness presented in our towns in decline.

Fantastic post Tick!!! I really liked how you combined the images of your town in the collage. It may not be pretty or idyllic but unfortunately many towns are in decline. You did stellar work on this image Tick and I think that it will be a good contender for the current contest. Good luck!!!!!

Do I see the winner...?! All I know this minute is that I can sense that dust and other debris right in my lungs and in my eyes... Very strong and impressive work, agent.
Am very much impressed and will vote for this one, given chance and opportunity...
But it seems that once without camera Caedes members are regarded as invalids thus unable to vote ! LOL
Hugs & congratulations on this "ugly" winner!

It's such a shame what is happening in our small towns. Very realistic, as our hometown is going the same way. Interesting collage.

So sad to see all the destruction to your town and its ever changing face. Here, the Italians manage to keep things together much longer. Perhaps a Roman Colosseum would be a perfect addition to what's left of your square. Piazza TicK!

A very creative and well put together entry for the contest, TicK!

It is sad to see what's happening in small town America I suppose most of the young people seek livelier places with more work available. A stellar, if sad, presentation Tick but superbly well done.

A neat and apt collage design Tic and your dramatic photographs are a fitting tribute to the lose of your town square. Having worked on the buildings I can clearly imagine the case bulldozing the ruins.

Fine work, may the best entrant win the competition.

Very well presented Tick.
The combined photos remind me of a disaster area - which in a way it is, stretched out over 10 years. Such a shame to see the hearts of small towns destroyed.
Best of luck in the contest.
