This Morgan horse was strutting its stuff for the camera. They are a beautiful horse and powerfully built. It is more casually known as Throckmorton and was raised by Fibber McGee and Molly.
While I'm too young to have followed Fibber McGee and Molly, I have heard historical broadcasts of their old time radio show. Times were much simpler back then. I like your B/W presentation, Tick. Lots of detail.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
Willard Waterman would be proud of this! I know I am. I always wanted a horse when I was a kid and this one, or one like it would have made me very happy. I didn't even get a pony!
Owd Fella Tick (OFT), Fibber McGee and Molly (perhaps a TV- or radio show) doesn't say anything to an European like me. Thought therefore that this Morgan horse was named by the name of your family. Anyhow a beautiful, proud, and powerful horse (enhanced by the choice of B&W), depicted very well.

Great looking capture love the light that highlights the muscle of the horse and as above the feeling of movement in this photography. And nice to see the horse enjoying it's self.Well done to a lovely photo and for the history too.
