I just wanted to try a crop where I left more to the imagination of the viewer. I will leave it to each of you to decide whether it works. Happy Trails!!
Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I was that impressed about your image The crossing, that I still can remember it very well, although it had been posted almost four years ago. I can be wrong, but I believe that you've depicted the same cowboy and horse again. If not, than you have achieved your goal by stimulating the imagination of the viewer by cropping your image. If so, it's another proof that the above by me mentioned post still belongs to the TNC (Top Notch Category).
This one however is a very fine image too, my friend!

Looks good against the water background. "Dan get up you ornery cuss, or you'll be the death of us. I'm so weary, but I'll help you if I can. Alright Dan, perhaps it's best, if we stop a while and rest. For it's still a hundred yards to Mary Ann's".....R.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
