My wife remained in the car at Daytona Beach, Florida while I was wondering along the shoreline. I became "confused" and "disoriented" and was lucky to find my way back to civilization. The wife didn't even realize how much trouble I was in, as she was content reading her book. I was gone for what seemed like days, but she said it was more like an hour. "Oh, well!"

I did a little work with one of my own textures on the sky.

I like that glow and also the contrast between the upper and lower half in this shot Tick.

Very dramatic sky. Great color transition from sky to sandy grass.

Looks like you and your seal team are about to attack the tower guarding this desert installation. Libya? Iran? Beautiful? Yep, that one.

Careful now Tic! perhaps you should carry a carton of milk and a bag of peanuts with you for the next time.

The red hues give this upload a alien planet feel.

Has the appearance of an urbanized desert, Tick, so I wasn't amazed that you've almost lost your way, ☺ .
Great editing. The sky now is the well known cherry on top of the cake, so enjoy your 'meal' owd friend. I've done this already!

Ah, it is very mysterious and obviously you entered a time warp when you ventured here.
You were lucky to find your way back from this alien looking habitat, that's for sure :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Tick I can truly say this is the best image I have had the privilege to view this year. I am at a total loss of words how to describe this picture. Can only come up with photographic Art thank you for sharing this one.

This one is simply magical. I can't tell how much editing was done, so this one is truly enjoyable to me. Would stare at this for sure.
