The setting sun provided the perfect backlighting for these swans on a local lake. It turned the water to gold and the swans to silhouettes. I thought it a good entry for the current contest. This was my best shot during the recent deer hunting season.

Nice play on the movie title, Tick... "Come on, Norman, let's go say goodbye to the swans... HOOOOONNKKK!" Seriously, though, what a great example of reflected light, the water disturbed by the swans reflecting the sky above, while silhouetted by color from the opposite bank. That orange must come from a mass of gold and red fall leaves. I'd say good luck in the contest but you really don't need it... a placer, for sure. S&F.
