Lickskillet was an old mining town in my part of the world that has long faded away. Some say it got its name because people were so poor; they licked the skillet to get every last drop of nourishment. It was situated next to Sally Mountain and was bordered by the Chariton River. I was deer hunting one day when the sky changed dramatically. This scene made thoughts of deer hunting go away. It is two shots combined.

Well, Kathy and Bob took the words out of my mouth...but I'll say 'WOW' anyways, lol...very dark and dramatic cloud cover...would make an excellent entry should you decide to enter this in the contest...great work in the capture and combining of the two.
