This building is adjacent to the photo of the building Mural In Progress I posted yesterday. It was destroyed by fire April 3, 2019 and is still standing. I took this photo on May 10, 2019. The photo of the Mural In Progress was taken September 13, 2019. You can read about the fire here. The street has been closed ever since the fire occurred.
On one corner of the town square a new memory is being made with the Mural, while on another corner a building waits to be buried. Such is the life of a small town.

A building on the northwest side of the Unionville, Missouri square was destroyed by fire early Wednesday morning. Crews from the Unionville, Missouri Fire Department were called to the building around 2 a.m. Wednesday. Ultimately, departments from Centerville, Green City and Milan were also called to assist. The building, at address 1622 Main St., was believed to be a total loss. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
