This is the photo of the barge I promised you in my Louisiana River View photo. You can also read about the Railroad Swing Truss Bridge there. Obviously the barge is headed downstream, perhaps to the state of Louisiana.
I thought about flipping it horizontally to give the barge more prominence, but it makes the letters on the barge look like a mirror reading. Perhaps the bridge should be the focal point of the shot anyway. Whatever, I hope you enjoy the scene.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I see that the two barges are linked to a so-called pusher boat. This phenomenon is well known on the rivers of my country. In most cases it's sometimes 6 to 8 barges that are 'pushed'. Requires an experienced/skilled skipper on the push boat because maneuvering isn't that easy.

That barge is loaded to its maximum draft - not easy to manoeuvre in the river. Good photo, nice details , blue water and blue sky.

Seems a big stretch of river that barge has to cover..
