I found this scene across the road from my post Flew The Coop. which had "Keep Out" spray painted on the front of the house. This had a "No Trespassing" sign posted at the start of the field road. The owners must have a lot of people bothering their property or they are very unfriendly. Not knowing, I cannot say! Anyway, I honored their request and let the lens do the walking for me.

I liked this long view because it shows the lay of the land and displays how the house is just out there all by itself. The bean field added some color to the once stately brick home. It must have been something to see back in the day. I bet is showed how prosperous the landowners were when it was built. As you can see, it has my imagination running wild down the path. Let your imagination roam with mine. I have a zoomed in view of the house which I will post at a later time. Have a good week.

I'd really be tempted to walk up and look at the house, but for the now, I will enjoy your image of the landscape - the road and the bean field bring your eye into the shot - Very Nicely Done Tick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This picture is just wonderful. I too like the long view and have looked at it for a long time. The colors are wonderful too!

Good vantage point for this...that path/track is a great lead for the eye to follow right up to that 'owd' house...

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I couldn't have curbed my curiosity and yet I had gone to this abandoned house. If someone had unexpectedly been present there and protested against my presence, I would have put forward as an excuse that I'm an analphabetic, 😜 !
My comment, however, isn't intended to encourage civil disobedience, but only to tell you that you've achieved the best possible result, despite the limited conditions.

I imagine a young maiden at that window looking out and wistfully thinking how nice it would be to live in a town. The colorful land and the blue sky together make this a lovely shot Tick.

In as much as it would be interesting to be able to go inside or examine the building from the exterior. The owners of the property have to consider the liability of someone getting injured while on their land. So I don't think it is necessarily a matter of being huffy. Great shot nonetheless!
