And across the street
Nothing special, just a shot of an old building, probably a bank, in a small town in Missouri. The village has declined over the years, but there are still some glimpses of when times were better.

On the far right side of this photo there are two Cardinals in the tree. So fitting for a Tick pic.
The reflections on the blinds closed window are excellent and provide a visual pathway to the buildings across the street. I love the stop sign and the "No Parking Here To Corner" sign. No challenges to either at the time you took the photo.
I also noticed the flag pole brace holder attached onto the side of the main building, empty of flag, now in its own retirement, holding memories that are private to it, yet, would be so motivating and interesting to the world beyond this intersection.
I love old towns and photos like this one, Tick. Maybe I share much in common with them.

...Lots of changes in this day and age...Many "Main Street" scenarios have been becoming devoid of businesses since the mid/late 1950s, when the concept of first building malls, and then later on "Big Box" stores, all on the outskirts of towns usually right off the Interstates, came into being... However, thanks to online shopping, even these retail behemoths are slipping into decay! I guess everything runs its course in life...
