Another shot of the sunset that blessed us this past Christmas. It was a later version then this shot. You can see it here.

I like this one because the road and lane are visible. Also the light rays from the sun adds a different effect. It reminds me of one of my favorite songs. John Denver's Take Me Home, Country Roads. I've driven many a mile singing along to that song. I suspect some of you have as well.

This will be my entry to SNATM. Enjoy the song and the view.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), great minds think (sing) alike, 😜 !
I know many versions of this song, but the one of the late John Denver is the favorite of mine.
Your post is an excellent presentation of this SNATM-theme (🎥) , so it was S+F instantly by me.
Thanks for sharing this beauty, 👍 !

John Denver died way too soon. I too loved his music. Tick, love seeing those two deer crossing the road. It appears they are keeping a good eye on the golfer and sense all is safe for their crossing. Your sunset is nearly a metaphor of America. The major colors are red, white, and blue. Just like you.

I'll see your "Take Me Home, Country Roads" and raise you..

"Sweet Surrender"

Let's make this.. dealer's choice.. too hard to choose.
Both are great songs.

:o)

... ...

Nicely done on the the technical side of things, Tick.
Exposure is good good, colours are natural.

Curious.. is this cropped at all?

I am wondering, and this, without the benefit of having been there.. if you could have caught a bit more of the left-hand side to fully include the one fork of the road.

"Dealer's Choice" may indeed be the operative words here, in terms of composition.. there's the two forks, the pole, the sun.. choices, choices.

... ...

Thanks for sharing this view with us.
